I'm Diane — the founder of SeraFi, and the developer who built every screen of this app with my own hands. I grew up watching my family work hard, love hard, and still lose sleep over money. Not because they didn't earn it — because nobody ever taught us the rules.
Through my credit repair company, I've sat with hundreds of families rebuilding their credit. And I kept seeing the same truth: repair fixes the past — but nobody was teaching the future. So I built the coach I wish my family had. One clear number every morning. The credit card rules nobody told us. Milestones you can actually reach. The name carries three meanings, braided together. Sera comes from zeraʿ (זרע) — the Hebrew word for seed. In Scripture, the seed is never just a plant: it's the language of generational promise — 'I will multiply your seed as the stars of the heavens' (Genesis 22:17). And it's the language of hope after hardship: 'Those who sow in tears shall reap with songs of joy' (Psalm 126:5) — a verse that lives inside the app itself.
It also honors Serah bat Asher — the only granddaughter named in Jacob's genealogy (Genesis 46:17), who appears again generations later (Numbers 26:46). Tradition remembers her as the keeper of her family's memory and inheritance — the one who made sure nothing precious was lost between generations. And in Spanish, Sera sounds like será: it will be.
